Bhuban Badyakar apologises for his ‘celebrity’ comment, says he’ll again sell peanuts if needed – Times of India

Only a few weeks ago Bhuban Badyakar had said that he’s a celebrity now and won’t be selling peanuts anymore. His comment raised quite a few eyebrows. Some even criticized that sudden stardom has changed him who once used to be a down-to-earth person from rural Bengal. And now, it seems the ‘Kacha Badam’ singer has realized he shouldn’t have made that comment.

Recently while attending a felicitation program Bhuban admitted that he didn’t mean to be rude, “I have now realized that I shouldn’t have said it. People have made me a celebrity and if situation arises I will again sell peanuts. I feel lucky to receive such love from you all. I am a simple man and have always lived my life like that. These things like stardom, media attention and glamour won’t be there forever. I can assure you as a person I haven’t changed.”

Meanwhile, after his viral ‘Kacha Badam’ song, Bhuban Badyakar is back with yet another song. The singer recently recorded a new song based on his new car. The song ‘Amar Notun Gari’ (my new car) comes only a week after he had an accident. Bhuban suffered minor injuries in a car accident recently and had to be admitted to a hospital in his village in West Bengal‘s Birbhum district. The latest song, ‘Amar Notun Gari,’ tells us how Bhuban Badyakar was in an accident and how the almighty saved him from serious injuries. The song is already trending big time on social media.
