Sunny Leone on protecting her kids from negative media glare – Times of India

Actress Sunny Leone who enjoys a strong media presence, is often subjected to trolls and negative comments. Time and again, the actress has been vocal about the same, and how she tackles them sportingly. Having said that, the actress recently slammed trolls for accusing her of treating her adopted daughter Nisha differently.

Speaking about the same with Pinkvilla, the actress feels every scenario is different and hence believe that honest communication about the same will be the solution to the issue. When asked about protecting her children from the negative reports about her or their peers reading about her, the actress feels, honest communication is probably the best thing.

Elaborating further, Sunny shared that every scenario is different, how they handle it, they will have to figure that out as it comes. Currently, the actress is focusing on how happy her kids are at school. She shared that, most of the things she does with the children is- communicate a lot. “I talk to my children a lot, and I drill them with so much information and try and get them to understand. Honesty is I think the best policy. You can’t lie to your children, they are going to find out the truth.”

Earlier in an interview, with ETimes,the actress had shared, how she handles social media trolls. Being a strong-headed person, Sunny said, “That wasn’t the case earlier. There were a couple of incidents where I think the digital world and social media bogged me down, but at the end of the day, you have to break it down on why that person would say something like that”.

She added, “You have to understand that, they are not just saying things about you, they say such stuff to everyone. Over time, I have become resistant and not bothered by social media. I’ve broken it down in a scientific way, on a psychological level about how and why all this happens”.

Meanwhile on the work front, Sunny recently made her OTT debut with Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Anamika’, which also stars Sonnalli Seygall and Samir Soni and Rahul Dev in pivotal roles.
