Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Ssharma, who is producing Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan’s Bollywood debut film, ‘Qala’, recently opened up about the young star kid’s acting prowess.

Showering praise on Babil, Karnesh told a news portal that his acting has his father’s rawness. The producer also added that the young lad has a lot of pressure on him and he also requested everyone to let him be and let him express himself. Karnesh also added that Babil can very well carry his late father’s legacy.

Elaborating further about how he came on board for the film, Karnesh said that Babil auditioned for the film. Neither he nor Anvita Dutt knew that he was Irrfan’s son. According to him, Babil is there purely on merit. He is a fantastic actor and talented. And that they are really happy and excited to present him. Karnesh also added that Babil has really done a good job on the film.

Irrfan, who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018, passed away on April 29, 2020. He was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ which also starred Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles.
