Back in 2003, Karisma had tied the knot with Delhi based business Sunjay Kapur. The couple has two kids, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan. In 2014, Karisma and Sanjay decide to part ways and had filed for divorce through mutual consent. However, the proceedings took an ugly turn when several allegations were leveled by Karisma and Sunjay against each other. Their divorce was finalized in 2016 and the kids stay with Karisma in Mumbai. A few years ago Karisma was linked to Sandeep Toshniwal and was often papped with the businessman, but soon ended their romance ended.
Having delivered hits like ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, ‘Raja Hindustani’ and ‘Judwaa’, Karisma took a break from films for her kids. Speaking about the same, Karisma had told Filmfare in an internet, “That was the choice I made. I wanted to be with my kids. Motherhood completely changes you as a woman. Your children become your priority. Work is secondary for me. It’s all about rushing back home and being with the children. Nothing’s more important than that. Since the kids are older now, I’ve taken up acting again. Yet I’m selective about it.”
Recently, Karisma started shooting for an OTT crime thriller titled ‘Brown’.
