Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Heropanti 2’ has released in theatres on April 29. During a conversation with a publication, the talented actor was asked if there is an insecurity in Bollywood considering the Box Office numbers are currently dominated by South movies.
Nawazuddin replied that everyone praises a film more than it deserves when it does well at the box office. The actor further stated that it’s the same when the movie isn’t a hit. People jump in to criticise the film more than it deserves.
The ‘Manto’ actor added that this has become a trend and if a Bollywood movie becomes a huge hit, it will change.
Meanwhile, in ‘Heropanti 2’, Nawaz essays the character named Laila who is one of the biggest cybercrime mafias in the world. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, the film features Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in the lead.
Nawazuddin will next feature in ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ directed by Sai Kabir and backed by Kangana Ranaut.
