The week was off to a big happy start for fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. While the announcement of the actress’ pregnancy had everyone erupting in cheers, it was the flood of unseen pictures being shared online that kept fans busy on the ‘Gram.

From Shaheen Bhatt to Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Soni Razdan and Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to share some unseen pictures of the mom and dad-to-be. But, it was Neetu’s post that won the most hearts and even made it to Alia’s new display picture on social media.

Reacting to the post, Alia wrote in the comment section, “My favourite picture.”

The picture in question saw the lovebirds locked in an embrace and reaching out for a kiss.

While the picture seemed like any other loved-up click of the two, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot what appeared to be a black ring box in Ranbir’s left hand.

If this is indeed a picture from the day Ranbir popped the question, then the couple has been engaged sometime around January. Ranbir and Alia jetted out on an African safari to ring in the New Year 2022 amidst nature and wildlife.

Alia had shared photos from the getaway with all her fans in a post that read, “giving 2022 some hakuna matata energy. stay safe… smile .. be simple and love more!!!!! happy new year.”

Ranbir and Alia met on the sets of their film ‘Brahmastra’ which is slated for a September 9 release. The hunk revealed that he asked the actress out on a date on New Year’s day and they have been together ever since.

The couple wed on April 14 and according to reports, will welcome their first child later this year.
