The reports also suggest that the makers are in talks with a reigning female actress and a top filmmaker. The film is slated to go on floors in 2023.
According to Pinkvilla, a lot of actors and filmmakers are interested in Madhubala’s biopic but the makers are in no hurry to shortlist the cast and crew. It is also being said that the content is still to be decided in reference to which part of her life will be shown in the film. The source told the portal that once the director, writer and studio get locked, only then the script and content will be finalised.
Speaking about the same, Madhur Brij Bhushan said that it has been her long-standing dream to do something for her beloved sister, who lived a very short yet momentous life. She added that all her sisters have joined hands to make this dream come true. She said that she is confident that this biopic will be made successfully on a grand level. She also requested to everyone within the film industry and outside to not attempt a biopic or any other project based on her sister’s life without her permission.
