Salman Khan on his association with Kichcha Sudeep: We have a long history – Times of India

Salman Khan attended the pre-release event of Kichcha Sudeep’s upcoming film ‘Vikrant Rona’. Khan’s production house has the distribution rights of the Sudeep starrer. During the event, Salman was asked to share about his association with the South star and how it happened.

Salman said, “He has done Bigg Boss, I have done Bigg Boss. He has done ‘Huchcha’ and I have done ‘Tere Naam’, so we have a long history. I was one of the owners of a team in CCL which played opposite him and he has always beat us. Our guys were just there to have fun.”

Sudeep quickly interrupted Salman and quipped, “We beat him in CCL and he took me in ‘Dabangg’ and beat the hell out of me.”

Later, Salman continued, “So we ‘Dabangg’ as well and it’s fantastic. So this came to me and I just thought that if I am backing a project of family and friends only if they can help me with an outstanding product and only then I will lend my support or be a part of the film. If you think I am supporting them, wrong, they are supporting me.”

Meanwhile, ‘Vikrant Rona’ is helmed by Anup Bhandari and is all set to release on July 28, 2022.
