RIP Balwider Sarfi: Neeru Bajwa, Gurdas Maan, and other Punjabi stars share condolences – Times of India


It is a dark phase for the Punjabi entertainment world. One after another, we are losing some of the most talented artists from the industry. On one hand, where people have not been able to process the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, on the other hand, the news of Balwinder Sarfi’s passing away came as a shock, leaving everyone grief-stricken.

Balwinder Sarfi was unwell for quite some time now. He spent 86 days in the hospital, and went through a triple bypass, followed by another surgery. Thereafter, he was in a coma for some time and recently was discharged from the hospital. Unfortunately, a couple of days after his discharge, today the news of his passing away came out.

With profound grief, his admirers have been sharing heart-touching posts. Punjabi celebs like Neeru Bajwa, Gurdas Maan, and Jassie Gill have also taken to their social media handle to share condolences.

Neeru Bajwa shared a picture of the late singer and wrote – “@balwinder_safri ji 🙏🏼 my condolences to the family … our family favourite forever🙏🏼 #rip #legend”.

She even shared her last memory with the singer from the sets of ‘Beautiful Billo’, she wrote – “Menu yaad hai Balwinder ji nu asi window tho dekya si during #beautifulbillo shoot… we were so excited. He so graciously came up to meet us. Dont make them like that anymore…. Thank you Sir for giving Punjabi music industry so much🙏🏼You will be forever live in our hearts #balwindersafri ji 🙏🏼🙏🏼”’
