The song titled ‘Chal Raat K Kori Bhor’ is an indo-Bangladesh project, directed by well-known choreographer Baba Yadav. The lyrics, tune and music composition are by Taposh and Haseeb has lent his voice for the song. The video has been shot in some picturesque locations of snow-clad Kashmir and it features Nibir Adnan alongside a sizzling Puja in red.
It was indeed a challenging task to shoot in the shivering cold, that too in such a bold and revealing dress, admits Puja. “I think to shoot for this music video was the toughest in my career. We shot at -12 in Kashmir and Pahalgam. Wearing such a revealing costrume in such a cold weather was so risky. I was like freezing in the cold. My expression had to be perfectly sync with the song. I couldn’t express how I was feeling. I had to act like a professional,” recalls Puja who has featured in a number of Bengali hits like ‘Hoichoi Unlimited’ and ‘Challenge 2’ to name a few.
The song has already garnered quite a lot of appreciation since its release and the actress is so happy to receive such an overwhelming response. “I am getting calls from both Tollywood and Bollywood. Many are praising the music video. There were some we thought that I won’t be able to work again since I have gained weight after pregnancy. But now I guess people have realized that how I look like these days,” said an excited Puja.
She further adds, “This music video is like a comeback to me. The number of views is quite impressive. Even I am getting new film offers. In fact, I will work in Tollywood very soon. Talks are on already. Right now I am waiting for the release of a few Hindi web series. There are some exciting projects in the lineup.”
When asked how is her son Krishiv and if he was also with Puja during the Kashmir shoot the actress said, “No, I didn’t take him with me because it was so cold and he’s too little to handle it. But My husband was there. Generally we don’t go to each other’s shooting spots but Kashmir is our favourite destination. So after the shooting we spent some quality time together. It was indeed an amazing experience.”
