Just today, we were treated with glimpses of Alia Bhatt‘s baby shower, where the glowing mom-to-be was surrounded by friends and family. This family time is going to be the order of the day for dad-to-be Ranbir Kapoor as well. ETimes has learnt that Ranbir will take a pause from his professional commitments and not sign any film after finishing Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
According to a source from the industry, the ‘Brahmastra’ actor will be taking a break from shoots and will abstain from signing a new film, as he wants to spend time with the baby. Ranbir will be resuming shooting of Animal mid October and wants to finish the schedule as soon as possible.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in April earlier this year and announced their pregnancy in the month of June.
The couple had their first film Brahmastra release in August. Alia has not signed any film either and Ranbir has finished shooting for Luv Ranjan’s film, where he features alongside Shraddha Kapoor. He has only Animal on the floors right now.
