Amitabh Bachchan feels fan meetings have become less enthusiastic outside his Jalsa home – Times of India

Amitabh Bachchan’s self-written blogs are a reflection of his thought process. The veteran actor doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind and often shares fun moments and snippets from his everyday life. In his blog, the actor recently revealed that lately lesser number of fans turn up in front of his Jalsa home.

The actor elaborated that the Sunday fan gatherings at his residence have become ‘less enthusiastic’, and the number of people showin up outside his home has also decreased. He also opened up about the importance of these gathering which are often termed ‘darshan’ by his fandom. Big also added that he always takes off his shoes before meeting his fans and it’s a devotion for his fans while interacting.

He wrote, “I do observe though that the numbers are in lesser magnitude and the enthusiasm has lessened and the screams of joy now transferred to the mobile camera .. and that is more evident now an indication that time has moved on and nothing lasts forever.”

On a closing note he wrote, “The Sunday meets at the Jalsa gate on Sunday to be revived, albeit with given precautions.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Amitabh was last seen in the film Goodbye with Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna. He is currently awaiting the release of his film Uunchai. Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film is all set to release on November 11.
