Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is celebrating his 57th birthday today and the actor hosted a grand party on the last day which had the presence of the popular actor Shah Rukh Khan, Karthik Aaryan, and several others. Salman Khan is indeed loved by the majority of the Malayalis and even the Mollywood actor Tovino Thomas said that he was his inspiration. Keeping everything aside, did you know that Salman Khan wanted to work along with the legendary Mollywood actor Mammootty?

Yes, you heard it right, during the year 2011, when Salman Khan was on a promotional spree for his comedy entertainer film ‘Ready’, he visited Kerala. Talking to the media, Salman Khan expressed his desire to act with the popular superstar Mammootty.

Replying to the media on whether he is planning to act in any Malayalam movies, Salman Khan said that if there is a film offered in Malayalam to act with Mammootty, he will definitely agree to it.

Previously during the Indian Super League football, Salman Khan also shared a picture with the legendary actor Mammootty via his official Twitter handle. Salman Khan’s Twitter note, ‘With Kerala’s shining star Mammootty’, is enough to understand that he is a hardcore fan of the Mollywood superstar.

Meanwhile, in the year 2019, talking to the media, Mammootty said that the Mollywood film industry won’t be able to afford a superstar like Salman Khan. Mammootty also expressed his desire to work in Bollywood films only if he feels like the content is good.
