Pathaan: Anushka Sharma heaps praise on Shah Rukh Khan’s record box office numbers; says ‘Only you could’ve done it!!” – Times of India

Anushka Sharma joined the long list of stars singing praise of Shah Rukh Khan‘s latest film ‘Pathaan’.
The actress, took to her social media handle on Friday, to celebrate the film’s record box office collections. Anushka hailed King Khan’s return in her post that read, “@iamsrk It was a long wait but only you could’ve done it!”

Sharing a post of the film’s record-breaking Rs 113.60 crore collection on Day 2, the actress wrote, “Such huge numbers and mega opening, breaking box office records.”

The actress also congratulated the ‘Pathaan’ cast members including Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
Acknowledging the same, Deepika shared the actress’ post on her stories.

Also singing praise of the film was actress Janhvi Kapoor. Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress wrote, “Thank you for reminding everyone of the magic and glory of Bollywood, again can’t remember the last time I was this entertained, awestruck and excited!!”

The actress added, “Killed it and knocked it out of the whole park!!!!”

On Day 2, ‘Pathaan’ collected Rs. 68 crore nett in India and earned Rs 2.5 crore nett from other dubbed formats. The movie beat its own record for the highest day collections that it set on Day 1 with a collection of Rs 57 crore nett.
