Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ is on its way to break all the records and become the highest grossing film of Indian cinema. Though, it’s still far from that, the film has continued to hold exceptionally well even in its second week.
‘Pathaan’ made a good 8 crore nett on its second Monday as per trade website boxofficeindia.com. The collections have dropped by 40 perc cent but the drop is largely due to the drop in the ticket prices over the week days. Hence, there’s been a dip in the collections.
With that, the total collection of the film stands at 419 crore nett. The film is expected to close its second week by around 90 crore nett. But what the trade considers commendable is that this 90 crore week will come after almost a 350 crore week one.
