It’s the awards night! The prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke awards are happening this evening in the city. Several celebs are in attendence as they made gorgeous red carpet apperances. The highlight of the evening are of course Alia Bhatt and Rekha who bonded with each other. While the legendary Rekha as always was seen in her gorgeous Kanjivaram saree, Alia also chose to wear a white saree looking ethereal. Rekha kissed Alia on the cheek while Alia cherished the moment! Alia was clicked with gajras in her hand too.
Other actors like Ronit Roy with Shreyas Talpade, directors Pushkar Gayatri, ‘Kantara’ actor Rishab Shetty were also spotted.
Varun Dhawan also arrived and posed with Anupam Kher.
Alia has won the best actress award this year for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, meanwhile, Rekha has won a Dadasaheb Phalke award this evening for her contribution to Indian cinema. Shetty has won the most promising actor award for ‘Kantara’. While the best web-series award went to ‘Rudra:The Edge Of Darkness’ this year. The ‘Kashmir Files’ won the best film, director Vivek Agnihotri was also present to receive the award.
