A recent example is that for the 2022 movie, Laal Singh Chaddha, he went for the elderly and wise looking persona by sporting a black and white beard and a pink and white turban, playing a devout Sikh.
In his latest public appearance, Aamir was seen in a grey sweater, black pants and black boots. He also wore nerdy looking black glasses and had a black bag slung across his shoulder, looking a bit like a chic artist.
He was also accompanied by a cute black and white dog with a makeshift mouthpiece around its neck and mouth. Aamir looked jovial and friendly as he happily posed for the photographers.
After the mixed reactions to Laal Singh Chaddha in August last year, he voluntarily chose to exit the spotlight for some time.
However, after making a rare appearance at the premiere of Kajol’s film Salaam Venky, Aamir had this to say on being questioned about what is keeping him busy at the moment, “Nahin main kuch nahin kar raha hoon. Bahut saalon se maine ek saath lagatar kaam kiya hai. Toh is waqt main thoda waqt family ke saath guzaarna chah raha hoon aur Paani foundation ka kaam chal raha hai, aur bhi kaam hai. Acting mein ek saal ke baad aaunga. (I’ve worked nonstop for many years now I am devoting some time to family. I have work for Paani foundation and other commitments, too. I’ll come back to acting in a year).”
Aamir had a cameo in Kajol’s film, Salaam Venky, which was released on December 9, 2022.
