Watch video: Anushka Sharma gives a sneak peek into her childhood home, reminisces about those days – Times of India

There is something about childhood homes and towns – a far cry from the hustle bustle of a metro, our childhood homes, nestled in a quiet corner constantly remind us of our humble beginnings. Actor Anushka Sharma recently visited her childhood home in Madhya Pradesh and the excitement in her voice, while taking us through those memories was palpable.

Anushka, who shared a video from MHOW, MP can be seen instructing the driver, giving him directions while taking us through the bylanes of the town she spent a major part of her childhood in. Since Anushka’s father Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma was an Army Officer, the Sharmas changed many residences while growing up, but this one seemed to be special. In the video, the actor can be seen showing us her old house and also telling us where her friend used to live.

While posting the video, Anushka wrote, “Revisiting MHOW, MP. The place where I first learnt to swim as a kid, the place where my brother tricked me to ask for a video game on MY birthday which only he played with of course, place where I had many scooter rides with my dad and the place that will always have a piece of my heart.”

Mhow, officially Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, is a town in the Indore district in Madhya Pradesh state of India.

Recently, the Phillauri actor also posted a throwback picture from the mountains and said, “I miss the mountains and I hope they miss me too.”

On the personal front, the actor and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli were recently spotted at the Mahakaleshwar Temple Ujjain, one of the most revered Jyotirlingas (shrines) of Lord Shiva.

Anushka is gearing up for her next – Chakda Xpress, a sports biopic film based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
