“I’ve lost my younger brother,” says Anil Kapoor as he mourns the death of Satish Kaushik – Times of India



Satish Kaushik who’s won the hearts of the audiences with some memorable characters like Calender from ‘Mr India’ and Pappu Pager from ‘Deewana Mastana’, passed away this morning. He was 66 and suffered a heart-attack. While the industry mourns his loss, Satish was quite close to a few of them.
Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik have been friends for over 40 years now. Anil and Satish have worked together in many movies like ‘Woh 7 Din’, ‘Mr India’ and Kaushik has also directed the actor in ‘Mr Bechaara’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai’. In a heartfelt post, Anil wrote, “The Laurels of the industry have lost their Hardy…the Three Musketeers have lost the most talented, generous and loving Musketeer and I have lost my younger brother…gone too soon…I love you Satish ♥️@anupampkher”

Anupam had revealed this morning that Anil is travelling abroad and was shocked and devasted as he called him up. He further added that the three of them share such a great bond that if two of these actors met, they would make fun of the third one.
Satish Kaushik’s mortal remains will be flown in from Delhi as the actor passed away in Gurugram. His final rites will take place at 5 pm in Mumbai. Several of his friends have started arriving to his house in Andheri.
