Actor-director Satish Kaushik passed away this morning at the age of 66. With this comic timing, and heartwaming smile, he had won hearts of not just the audiences but also his friends from the industry. The actor shared a great friendship with many people from the industry like Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta among others.
Neena has dropped a heartfelt video paying tribue to the late actor. She said, “I woke up with a very sad news. There’s only one person in the whole world who called me Nancy and I used to call him Kaushikan. Our friendship goes back to our college days, and we’ve shared a long association, whether we met often of no. He’s no more now. It’s very scary and sad. His daughter Vanshika and his wife Sashi – it’s a very difficult time for them and I’m always there for them if they ever need me. May God give them the strength to deal with this loss, especially, Vanshika.”

Neena andSatish have worked together in the iconinc ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’. In her autobiography ‘Sach Kahun Toh’, which was published a couple of years ago, Neena spoke about her long friendship with Kaushik. She had revealed that when she was unmarried and pregnant with Masaba, he had also offered to marry Neena.
