As per a report in Box Office India, the trend around Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has been good enough and it is expected to put up an acceptable score on the board on Monday. The mentioned 40 per cent drop is in comparison to the film’s Friday collection, which were pretty low as non-Holi areas suffered post release till Saturday.
The report also states that if the movie witnesses 50 per cent drop on Monday, it is likely to incur huge losses as compared to Ranveer Singh’s 83, which ended its box office run quickly. Given the change in audience’s taste post pandemic, the film is likely to suffer in the days to come. However, the positive words of mouth could manage to extend the film’s box office run.
As far as the footfalls are concerned, mass markets will hold up on Monday whereas the film is estimated to have a decent run at the multiplexes in big cities. The movie is expected to make around Rs 65 crore nett after six days of its release, taking its extended first week total to Rs 77-78 crore, which will considerably fair numbers looking at the current box office scenario.
