Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty’s mom to be discharged from hospital soon; Lady is in good spirits after angioplasty – Exclusive – Times of India

Earlier today, Shilpa Shetty put out an emotional note on her social media account, saying that her mother had undergone a surgery. Sharing a picture of her mother from the hospital, the actress thanked Dr Rajiv Bhagwat, who is the same cardiologist who treated Sushmita Sen after her heart attack recently.
ETimes has got an exclusive update on Shilpa Shetty’s mother. We have learnt that Sunanda Shetty was admitted to the hospital three days ago. Her latest reports are encouraging, and she is on her way to recovery. So much so that she is going to be discharged very soon, either tonight or tomorrow. ETimes also has it that Sunanda Shetty too underwent an angioplasty at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital.

Sharing details about the surgery, Shilpa had penned, “Seeing a parent undergo a surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom it’s her guts and her fighting spirit🧿♥️ The last few days have been a roller coaster. But, my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day!Thankyou so much, Dr Rajeev Bhagwat for taking such good care of Ma before, during, and after her surgery. Shilpa and her younger sister Shamita must be extremely relieved and happy that their mother’s heart procedure has been successful and she is on her way to return home.
