SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, and Kaala Bhairava receive warm welcome in Hyderabad; see pics – Times of India



On March 17, SS Rajamouli, the Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, his son Kaala Bhairava, SS Karthikeya, and Rama Rajamouli, accompanied by their family members, made their first public appearance in India after winning the big Oscar award. The Oscar for Best Original Song was won by RRR’s Naatu Naatu. At the Hyderabad airport, the Rajamouli family was greeted by a crowd of fans, who welcomed them with whistles and applause.
Naatu Naatu, a song from RRR, made history as the first Indian film to receive the prestigious accolade. The track was recognized with a Golden Globe and an Oscar, as well as numerous accolades from Hollywood.

Upon bringing home an Oscar trophy, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravaani, Kaala Bhairava, SS Karthikeya, Rama Rajamouli, and their family members returned to Hyderabad, where they were greeted with a warm welcome at the airport. Fans flocked to catch a glimpse of the RRR team who had made the entire country proud.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, is a work of fiction set in a historical period and revolves around the lives of two Telugu revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR essay the roles of the two revolutionaries, respectively, while the film also boasts an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, Shriya Saran, and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles.
