Salman Khan death threats: Family concerned about his safety, superstar advised to avoid on ground events – Times of India

An entire contigent of Mumbai policemen were spotted ensuring security checks outside Salman Khan‘s residence in Bandra. ETimes reached out to a source close to the police who revealed that the mood around the actor’s residence and family is quite serious. The source said, “Everyone in Salman Khan’s family and his team are serious and very concerned about his safety. These new threats have shaken things up, but they also know that the police has responded well and is making sure that the security arrangements are appropriate.”
The source also revealed that the police has recommended changes to Salman Khan’s schedule keeping in mind his security. The source said, “His team has been told to avoid any on ground events for the next few days. He also has a movie release coming up and they will have to plan any promotional activities accordingly.”

Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is slated to release in April. The promotional activities which usually kick-start a month in advance might have to be planned with more attention to security. ETimes has also learnt that the actor is currently not stationed in Mumbai and there’s no clarity when he’s expected to return.
The Mumbai police has registered a case against various persons after a threat email was received by Salman Khan’s team. In the email, it was stated that gangster Goldie Brar wants to speak to Salman and asked his team member to fix a time when they can speak. The email also asked Salman’s team member to show the actor Lawrence Bishnoi’s video where he stated that he wants to kill the actor.
The email was recieved by Prashant Gunjalkar who works in Salman Khan’s team. It is believed that the mail was sent by one Rohit Garg. Salman’s security and managing team reached out to Bandra police. In response, the Mumbai police has registered a complaint against Rohit Garg, Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.
