Alanna Panday posts appreciation note for her ‘bride tribe’, cousin Ananya Panday finds special mention: See inside – Times of India

Alanna Panday and her boyfriend Ivor McCray recently tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony. A far cry from the big fat Bollywood weddings, this one was an intimate ceremony, filled with so much love and laughter.

Earlier today, Alanna took to her IG handle to share an appreciation post for her ‘bride tribe’ that included Ananya Panday, Rysa Panday, Aaliya Washere and Alizeh Agnihotri. Along with the post, Alanna shared an album capturing the priceless moments from her wedding ceremonies, leading up to the big day. She wrote, “My Bride Tribe for life. This was such a special day with my girls. My sisters @aaliyawashere @alizehagnihotri threw me the most gorgeous Mehndi! @rysapanday surprised me from LA and @ananyapanday helped her plan everything. So many happy tears were shed this day. Love you guys more than anything.”

Earlier in an exclusive chat with ETimes, the couple’s wedding designer Ambika Gupta had shared why this was not your typical Bollywood wedding. She said, “It was clear right from the onset that Alanna and Ivor and their respective families did not want us to treat the wedding as a celebrity event. It was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime, personal journey of two very special and unique individuals. The wedding was to tell their stories that have now merged into one and my first thought was that I had to create a series of intimate, joyful, and elegant experiences for the couple, their families, and guests.”

Alanna Panday is the daughter of Chunky Panday’s brother Chikki Panday and wife Deanne Pandey.
