On his birthday in 2021, Salman Khan had announced the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ sequel, stating that K V Vijayendra Prasad is working on the script of the movie, which is titled ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’.
The first part was helmed by Kabir Khan and starred Salman and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. But looks like the sequel is going to have a new leading lady. Accoding to Bollywood Hungama, Salman has roped in Pooja Hegde to replace Kareena Kapoor in ‘Pavan Putra Bhaijaan’. However it remains to be seen if Pooja will play a new character or step into Bebo’s shoes. Interestingly, Salman is already romancing Pooja in his upcoming release ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ and looks like their romance will last beyond one movie.

Senior writer Vijayendra Prasad had exclusively confirmed to ETimes that the film is called ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’. He had also told us how he approached Salman with the idea of the sequel and the actor jumped at the opportunity.
Apart from ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’, Salman Khan will also be seen in ‘Tiger 3’. This action entertainer is scheduled to hit the screens in November 2023. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ will see Salman and Katrina Kaif return with their spy avatars. Shah Rukh Khan will soon be shooting for a special cameo in ‘Tiger 3’.
