The sprawling new Parliament building will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28. Extending wishes and expressing curiously over the same, Amitabh Bachchan penned a post script on his blog today.
Big B is known to connect with fans with a blog post every night, but his Friday post arrived early on Saturday. While mulling over thoughts of ‘moments in life’, Big B wrote a short note about his thoughts and ended the blog with curiosity over the new Parliament building. He wrote, “The new building of the Parliament of the Country opens and as an ex MP, my wishes for this moment .. though I would like to know why the shape it is in and its – theological, mythical, astrological mean .. just.” The new building will have peacock-themed Lok Sabha chamber as well as the Rajya Sabha chamber. Both chambers will have a total seating capacity of 1,272.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy with the shoot of ‘Section 84’. Written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, this film is a courtroom drama and also stars Diana Penty, Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal parts. Big B also has Nag Ashwin’s Project K in the pipeline. Amitabh Bachchan was shooting for the same in Hyderabad when he suffered a rib injury and was rushed back home for recuperation. This entertainer stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
