Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been receiving positive reviews from all sides for her splendid performance in Mani Ratnam‘s ‘Ponniyin Selvan I‘ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2‘.

In an interview with a news portal, the actor recalled telling Aishwarya that it is her best work till date as an actor. According to him, it is an unbelievable feat to accomplish with a role like that, which is very layered and very difficult. He added that she did it a fantastic job with that and that he is proud of her.

We feel immensely satisfied and Ponniyin Selvan has definitely been immensely satisfying for all of us.”
