Adipurush’s latest song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ captures the yearning between Prabhas’ Raghava and Kriti Sanon’s Janaki | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Ever since the release of Adipurush’s trailer, the makers have been consistently raising the anticipation for the film week after week. The newly released song, Ram Siya Ram, portrays the longing between Prabhas’ character, Raghava, and Kriti Sanon‘s character, Janaki, after her abduction. This soulful song is a recreated version of a popular bhajan and showcases the tender moments shared by the two protagonists, while primarily highlighting Janaki’s pain as she awaits Raghava‘s arrival in Lanka to rescue her from the clutches of Lankesh.
The song, composed and sung by Sachet and Parampara, features heartfelt lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Although the audience may anticipate the appearance of Lankesh’s character in the song, it is yet to be showcased.
Director Om Raut shared the song on Twitter, describing it as the soul of Adipurush. Titled ‘Ram Siya Ram,’ the song was released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, following the footsteps of the first song, ‘Jai Shri Ram.’
During the trailer launch of the film a few weeks ago, Kriti expressed her emotional state, saying she experienced goosebumps while watching the trailer. She emphasized that ‘Adipurush’ is much more than just a film, as the experience of working on this project surpassed anything she had felt before. Kriti extended her gratitude to Om Raut for having faith in her and offering her a role that many actors aspire to portray in their lifetime.
