Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Mimoh, who is the son of veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogita Bali, recently opened up about his marriage to Madalsa Sharma and how his wife has achieved immense success on television. She is known for her role of Kavya Shah in Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey.
Mimoh revealed that it was his father Mithun who encouraged Madalsa to take up television.He told her that if you get a chance on television, don’t lose that opportunity because Mithun’s second innings started with television throughDance India Dance in 2009.
He became popular among the younger generation, Mimoh said that the dance reality show gave his father access to all the generations who might not have seen his films. He then said, “Madalsa got this chance, and look at her today. She doesn’t have time to sit at home.” He also added that Mithun has proved to be very lucky for his wife.In the same interview, Mimoh also defended Mithun’s choice of doing B-grade films in the 80s. He said that his father did those films for his family and the hotel. Every unit from Bollywood movies and also from the south stayed in their hotel. He was doing it for money and he never had any qualms. He feels very proud to say that his father’s first and last thought is always his family.
