Reports were rife that the newlyweds were all set to host not one, not two but three wedding receptions for their friends, family and colleagues. While they are hosting the first one for their family and relatives in Chandigarh on September 30, the one in Delhi will host Raghav’s friends and colleagues from politics.The one in Mumbai will be for Parineeti’sBollywood friends.
However, there seems to have been a slight change in the plan. A latest report in News18 stated that one big reception party will be hosted by both the bride and the groom in Mumbai. The party in Chandigarh and Delhi stands cancelled as of now. Parineeti and Raghav will now be hosting their friends in Mumbai. The party is set to take place on October 4.
The report further added that Parineeti wanted only her closest friends and relatives to be a part of her nuptials in Udaipur and it was already pre decided by the couple to invite the rest of their peers and friends to be a part of their engagement.
Parineeti and Raghav commenced their pre-wedding festivities in Delhi with a Sufi night, which was followed by an Ardaas ceremony. Subsequently, the couple made their way to Udaipur, where Parineeti’s Chura and Mehndi ceremonies took place on September 23. On the same day, they also hosted a grand Sangeet ceremony before finally exchanging their vows on September 24.
Sharing her dreamy wedding photos on social media, Parineeti had written, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now .. ”
