Hina Khan drops the teaser of her new film ‘Country of Blind’ on her birthday – WATCH | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Hina Khan has indeed come a long way and carved her path from television to movies. Despite the fact that she left a huge mark on the audience as Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, she’s made people see her beyond that now. On her birthday on October 2, Hina dropped the teaser of her upcoming film ‘Country Of Blind‘ which is set to get an exclusive international release in the USA on October 6.
The film is based on HG Wells’ short story and is a satire showcasing a unique community which thrives in isolation from the outside world. A disease has struck the community which has led to the next generation to be born without eye sight.
Hina shared the teaser and she wrote, “Here’s a treat for my fans, on the occasion of my birthday, I am very proud to announce the release of COUNTRY OF BLIND in USA on the 6th of Oct 2023. I will be sharing the list of cinemas where you can watch the film. For now, a small glimpse of our world in Country of Blind, where love flourishes beyond sight. #CountryOfBlind”

Her fans couldn’t stop appreciating her in this teaser and showered a lot of love on the actress while wishing her a happy birthday. Talking further on this, Hina says, “After the poster launch in Cannes, getting a USA release is massive! I am super excited and cannot wait to see the reaction of our audience. The film is a beautiful cinematic experience and one which is sure to touch hearts. Rahhat really ensured we lived these characters through and through the shoot which was quite amazing!”
The film was shot in Kashmir, which is Hina’s hometown and that was the cherry on the cake for her. ‘Country Of Blind’ also stars Inaamulhaq, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Anushka Sen, Namita Lal, Mir Sarwar, Jitendra Rai, Ahmer Haider, and Hussein Khan. It is directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi. The movie will have a worldwide release soon.
