Janhavi Kapoor couldn’t attend first day of shooting of baby sister Khushi Kapoor’s debut film – Times of India

Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is one of the most anticipated films of the year as it launched the next generation of three families, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi. Khushi plays Betty Cooper’s character in the film.
In a recent conversation with News 18 Janhvi Kapoor spoke up about her sister’s personality, she mentioned that Khushi’s composed temperament has prepared her for the unpredictable nature of the profession.

She shared that Khushi is too straight forward and had no time for bullshit. Even when it comes to reviewing her elder sister’s films, Khushi says what she feels. She either says very good or goes meh and asks her to go to sleep and not fish for compliments.
Janhavi also revealed that she couldn’t accompany her younger sister on the first day of shoot for The Archies. She mentioned that she was heartbroken and even had thoughts of giving up her career and probably become like one of those on set moms who says ‘ Baby ke liye juice lao’. She added that what’s the point of any of it if she’s not able to be there for your family.
On the work font Janhavi has a lot of films lined up, it was recently announced that her Telugu debut film Devara where she is paired opposite Jr NTR will now be turned into a two parts franchise. The film also features Saif Ali Khan as the negative lead. Besides that she has Mr and Mrs Mahi which is backed by Karan Johar and has Rajkummar Rao opposite her. She will also be seen in a political thriller Ulajh with Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah. And if rumours are to be believed she has also signed Rambo opposite Tiger Shroff.
