Lee Yoo-mi and Kim Jung-eun starrer ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ is on an unstoppable spree! This series is a spin-off of the beloved drama ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon’, which follows the adventures of three generations of exceptionally strong women and was released in 2017.
According to Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode of the series dominated its time slot across all cable channels, achieving a remarkable average nationwide rating of 9.8 per cent.This not only marked a new personal record for the show but also underlined its growing popularity. In the TV landscape, KBS 2TV’s ‘Live Your Own Life’ saw a significant 3 per cent increase, maintaining its position as the top program on Fridays. Meanwhile, ‘Arthdal Chronicles 2’ on tvN garnered a 4.4 per cent average nationwide rating.
‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ narrates the extraordinary women blessed with incredible strength, teaming up to tackle drug-related crimes in the vibrant Gangnam area. This series is keeping the audience hooked with its compelling storyline and stellar performances, solidifying its position as a must-watch show.
Recently, the show’s viewership hit a peak as Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young, who played the leads in ‘Strong Girl Bong-soon’ made a special appearance in ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ as a couple. Their onscreen chemistry instantly reminded fans of their swoon worthy romance in 2017. ‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ also stars Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu, and Byeon Woo-seok.
