Aamir Khan has been a part of the movie business for more than three decades and now it is time for his son Junaid to enter the world of movies. He would be making his debut with Aditya Chopra’s period epic film called Maharajand we are now being told that the newcomer has wrapped up the film. Reportedly, Maharaj’s narrative draws inspiration from the notorious Maharaja Libel Case of 1862, the film will be released on Netflix, as part of a new agreement between Aditya Chopra’s studio and streaming giant.ActressShalini Pandey who will also be seen in the film, spilled the beans on the newcomer. She was last seen with Ranveer Singh in Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

She mentioned that Junaid is a very easy breezy human being and was a very good co-actor to work with. She added that since the two of them belonged to the same age group they had a blast shooting the film and both had very similar energies on the set.
As for the movie “Maharaj,” it features Sharvari Wagh and Jaideep Ahlawat in significant roles. The film is said to be centered around the well-known 1862 Maharaja Libel Case. This legal battle involved the leader of a religious sect suing a newspaper for alleging he had intimate relations with his female devotees. Reportedly, Junaid portrays a reporter in the film, taking a different stance in the court case.
Shalini who is also known for films like Arjun Reddy will soon be making her OTT debut with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s show called Dabba Cartel where she will be sharing screen space with Shabani Azmi. The show is a story about 5 housewives who run a high stakes drug cartel in Mumbai.
At a recent event Aamir spoke about Junaid also making his debut as a producer with the film Pritam Pyaare in which he has a five minute cameo. Aamir is also coming back to movies after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha.
