Expressing his enthusiasm about the new CINTAA building, Boman said, “Something wonderful happened when I came here for the CINTAA House opening. My eyes lit up, my ears stood up and I thought that we could do some workshops here. I conduct workshops online. I have been doing it for the last 3 years. We have done around 650 sessions on screenwriting and acting. I would be more than happy to come and use this wonderful facility to do workshops for young artistes. Now that the building is constructed and inaugurated, we got to make use of it. It’s historical, it’s beautiful. But now let’s put it to use. CINTAA wants support from the industry and I have thrown my hat in the ring.”
He acknowledged Amit Behl, Manoj Joshi and Preeti Sapru’s thoughts about the film industry’s more affluent stars helping out the needy actors. Boman added, “I will help in the way that I’m equipped to. But yes, financial security is important, especially for those who do jobs that don’t have glamorous wages. So that they’re protected. I think this place is protection more than anything else – whether it is financial security or mental security. And also for development, improvement and raising the bar as far as the game is concerned – how do we improve our work and output. We have the playing field now and we’re utterly grateful to the members of CINTAA.”
Boman also spoke to ETimes about Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani. In the earlier story published on ETimes, the ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ star revealed that Dunki has turned out well and it will be SRK’s hattrick in 2023.
