Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrates her birthday today and the gorgeous lady decided to spend her day with a noble cause. The actress attended a special event organised by GSB seva mandal for cancer patients with her mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were twinning in white and the mother-daughter bonding was heartwarming to see. At this event, especially said that she’s always going to be of whatever help that she can for people in her life and for social causes.
She also posed with some cancer patients and celebrated her birthday with them.The actress cut her birthday cake with Aaradhya and her mother. But when the paparazzi asked Aaradhya to feed the cake to Aishwarya, the actress revealed that she can’t eat the cake because she’s fasting forkarwa chauth. Though, she fed the cake to her mother and Aaradhya both.
For those not in the know, Aishwarya fasts every year for karwa chauth for Abhishek Bachchan and that’s not all. Even Abhishek fasts every year for his wife and that explains why the couple serves goals!
Meanwhile, at the event, Aishwarya was quite emotional as she spoke about cancer and doing her bit for the society. “It’ll continue to be my way of life to be able to do my karm and be there in anyway I can for people in my life and anyone’s life who I can touch. I couldn’t see today becoming memorable in any other way. I just had to stand here and through the members of the media, express gratitude to everyone who has touched my life, all the professionals I’ve worked with who gave me the opportunity to be able to stand as a personality on a public platform where I’m able to communicate, by the virtue of the work I’ve done. But more so, to the audience because of the support they’ve given me to be able to do anything that’s impactful. To my audience – you give me the power, ability to enrich others’ life but it’s you who enrich my life.”
