Salaar crosses Rs 1 crore mark in USA Advance sales – Times of India

Going by the current response Prashanth Neel and Prabhas’s upcoming film Salaar-Part One: Ceasefire is generating, one can easily claim that a storm is coming at the box office. When the film was slated to release on 28th September and had to be pushed to December, its advance booking in the USA has crossed the figure of Rs 3 crore and going by the current figures the film will definitely cross that number before the release, which is still 31 days away.
As per the latest numbers coming in, the film has collected $132517 (Rs 1.1 crore) from 172 locations and has sold about 5073 tickets till now.Overnight the film has added about $10000 (Rs 8.3 lakh) to its kitty, a day before the film had collected $122,724 from 152 locations and had sold 4694 tickets.

It is being rumoured that the trailer of the film, which is releasing on December 1, will be attached to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal especially in North India, as it is being distributed by the same company AA films. AA Films is headed by Raveena Tandon’s husband Anil Thadani who had also distributed KGF in Northern markets with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Besides Prabhas, the film also stars Prithivraj, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy.
Salaar is a very important film for both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. For Prabhas because post Baahubali franchise the man has been struggling to deliver a legit hit at the box office. His films take a massive opening but are unable to maintain their momentum. For Neel, the film is important as it comes after the massive success of the KGF franchise and it is being said that both the films share the same universe.
