All eyes are on Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur‘ as it hits the theatres on December 1. While there is much-needed hype around the movie, it faces a box office clash with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal‘.
Now, according to a report in Sacnilk.com, In advance ticket sales across all theaters in India, Sam Bahadur has accumulated a gross of Rs 20.32 crore.The portal’s shared advance booking details reveal that a total of 66,418 tickets have been sold for the opening day, covering 3,666 shows nationwide. Meanwhile, ‘Animal’ has already sold more than 66000 tickets for its opening day in India.

In response to a question about the potential clash between Animal and Sam Bahadur at the box office in an interview with The Indian Express, Vicky Kaushal expressed that when two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, one wouldn’t say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other. Instead, they are playing for a single team, emphasizing that they are playing for Hindi cinema.

He added that while one player might hit fours and sixes, the other player will be at the crease and take ones and twos, maintaining the strike.
