Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ was released amidst much fanfare and has been getting positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike. There were quite some speculations ahead of the release owing to its long run time and its box office clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur‘. The makers had also organised a special screening of the film the night before the film hit the theatres. The who’s who of Bollywood made their presence felt at the do. Alia, along with her family, was seen cheering for her husband Ranbir at the screening. She grabbed the spotlight by wearing a Ranbir Kapoor-themed t-shirt at the event.

The much-awaited trailer of ‘Salaar’ was finally unveiled. Prabhas and Prithviraj’s fierce looks and performances receievd a lot of appreciation from fans. The film will be hitting the theatres on December 22.
The film is all set to lock horns with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ at the box office. The clash is being termed as one of the biggest box office clashes of the year. Spilling some beans on the same, Salaar director Prashanth Neel told ETimes that clashes are not an ideal situation, whether it involves a newcomer or the biggest star in Indian cinema. He mentioned that it is unpleasant for any party to shift their release date to accommodate another, and his team did not wish for others to do the same when they had already announced their date a year in advance. Neel clarified that the decision to move the release date was solely a logistical one made by the production team. He emphasised that he and his team typically do not involve themselves in the production’s decisions regarding release dates, as they refrain from interfering in the filmmaking process.
Another death threat to Salman Khan
After an incident of gunfire at the residence of Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal in Canada on an early Saturday, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi used a social media post to convey that it was a warning to the Punjabi actor due to his appreciation of Salman Khan. Following a security review conducted by Mumbai Police officials for Salman Khan, the actor has been duly alerted.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, the police have successfully traced the potential location of the individuals responsible for the threat. The Facebook post targeting Punjabi actor-singer Gippy Grewal and Khan is believed to have originated from a European country, as reported. Mumbai police are currently suspecting the involvement of a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang operating from abroad. In response to the threats, Khan’s security underwent a review, noting that he already maintains Y-level security.
