During a recent Ask SRK session, the actor was asked about how much he knew about the entire concept and what fascinated him to opt for the project. SRK mentioned, he hardly knew anything about it, he said , “Actually hardly anything. Raju and Abhijaat brought it to my knowledge. It’s fascinating…,dangerous and quite an overwhelming experience to have learnt about it and portray parts of it (sic).”
On his birthday his fans had organized a special fan meet, SRK graced the event with Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi,. Talking ath the event SRK said, “‘Dunki’ is a film that speaks volumes. It is meant to be more entertaining than Pathaan and Jawan, with a simplicity that captures the heart.”
