Song Kang is currently enjoying a glorious run with his two dramas ‘My Demon’ and ‘Sweet Home’ Season 2 being aired and loved by fans. Recently, he opened up about his upcoming military service.
“It’s a natural obligation. I’ve been contemplating it for a while. Rather than feeling apprehensive, I believe that changing my mindset can help me grow further.I’ll strive to showcase a better version of myself upon my return,” theactor was quoted by allkpop. Song Kang will have to take a break from his acting endeavors when two of his major shows are bringing in massive viewership. But he is not worried about it, Song Kang added, “It was my choice not to delay military service. My motto is ‘Let’s not regret our choices,’ so I embrace my decisions and give my best effort at all times.”
Interestingly, Song Kang will not be around for the promotions of ‘Sweet Home’ season 3 which is slated for release during summer of 2024. “I think I’ll be very sad. It’s too bad that I can’t be there with the team although I also worked hard on the drama with them. However, I hope Season 3 comes out well and there will be many changes. I may feel lonely but I’m satisfied to see the results,” the actor had stated. Song Kang also reportedly stated that he plans to read books, watch movies and dramas, and study languages during his service period.
