‘Dunki’ star Shah Rukh Khan reveals he had 11 surgeries in 28 years; says his DDLJ t-shirt still fits him | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

After delivering two biggest hits of the year with ‘Pathaan‘ and ‘Jawan‘, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to hit a hat trick with his next ‘Dunki‘. The film marks his first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani.
In the ‘Dunki’ trailer, there’s a scene where Shah Rukh Khan is seen running in a T-shirt that seemed very familiar. Fans were quick to notice that it looked exactly like the one he wore in his 1995 film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.’

When a fan shared an edited video on social media, juxtaposing Shah Rukh Khan’s T-shirt scene from ‘Dunki’ with a similar scene from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,’ and asked how he felt about it, Shah Rukh responded.

In the 28 years between the two movies, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that he has undergone 11 surgeries. Despite that, he expressed happiness that he could still fit into the same T-shirt. Sharing the video, the fan asked, “@iamsrk somewhere in between we all grew up… How does it feel when you see edits like this one? #AskSRK.” To which Shah Rukh replied, “Life is a run. I am so glad that even after 11 surgeries, I can still srun the same, and my same T-shirt fits me just fine!! #Dunkitrailer.”

This is how Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ broke the record of Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’; fans say, ‘No toxicity, No vulgarity’

DDLJ, directed by Aditya Chopra, still remains one of the most loved Indian cinema. The film also starred Kajol, Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Mandira Bedi and others.

When another fan shared a still from ‘Dunki’ and humorously wondered why Vikram Rathore, Shah Rukh Khan’s character from ‘Jawan,’ was in ‘Dunki,’ SRK had a cheeky response. He said, “Kyunki iss picture mein bhi mein army ka Jawan hoon. Samajh gaya bhai ya aur clear karoon. (Because here too, I’m an army veteran. Did you get it or should I clarify it more?) #DunkiTrailer also refers to stupid question section please ha ha love u.”

Meanwhile, ‘Dunki’ also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 22.
