Alia Bhatt gained attention at the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22, where she adorned a Ramayan-themed saree. The exquisite silk saree, designed by Madhurya, added a touch of elegance to the Bollywood star’s appearance.
In attendance for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony alongside other Bollywood actors, Alia Bhatt chose a Mysore silk saree from Karnataka for the occasion.The detailed pallu design, illustrating significant moments from the Ramayana, took 10 days to complete.Bharathy Harish, Head of Madhurya, shared insights with India Today, stating, “Rama breaking the Shiv dhanush, Rama being asked to go to the forest, the bridge on the Ganga, the golden deer, and the kidnapping, among other details, are mentioned.” The intricate artwork was custom-made, with two artists dedicating 10 consecutive days to bring the design to life.

Bharathy Harish further disclosed that the saree’s cost is approximately Rs 45,000. The designer emphasized the exclusive nature of the creation, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship that went into crafting the unique piece for Alia Bhatt’s appearance at the significant ceremony.
Ranbir Kapoor with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif with Vicky Kaushal arrived together in a golf cart for the Ram Mandir inauguration. The couples shared the same golf cart, exchanging smiles and greetings with everyone along the way.
