In a series of social media posts, the actress has been sharing glimpses of her living room, bedroom and lawns as she spends time getting accustomed to the new space as repair work is on in full swing at her home.
The couple, found themselves embroiled in an ongoing legal dispute over damage of their dream home, which they purchased in September 2019. The luxury mansion reportedly began showing signs of water damage as early as 2020 and in turn, triggered a mold infestation that deemed the home ‘dangerous’.
In a lawsuit, filed in May 2023, the couple contended that the problems rendered the premises “virtually unlivable” and emphasized substantial damage, prompting the couple to seek rescission of the purchase and sale agreement.
Priyanka and Nick, through their trustee, are also pursuing “consequential damages.”
While the exact costs are yet to be determined, the cost for repair is already estimated at around $4 million.
On the work front, Priyanka is expected to head back to the sets of ‘Citadel’ to begin work on the second season that will be helmed by the Russo Brothers. Nick, on the other hand, has been busy with his Jonas Brothers tour.
