The box office performance of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter has taken a downward spiral as it entered its second week of release. The Siddharth Anand directorial, which initially showed signs of strong growth over the second weekend, faced a significant drop in collections on weekdays.
After an impressive boost in its second Saturday and Sunday collections, Fighter saw a drastic decline of nearly 74 per cent in its box office numbers on Monday. The film’s occupancy remained consistent on Tuesday, but the downward trend persisted, leading to a further dip in collections on Wednesday.
According to Sacnilk, Fighter managed to earn just Rs 2.75 crore on day 14 of its release, bringing its total box office collection to Rs 184.50 crore. The sharp decline in collections indicates a significant loss of audience interest in the film, posing challenges for its future performance at the box office.
