He has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) affecting the brain.
According to a report in the news portal, Mithun Chakraborty is currently fully conscious.The hospital statement mentioned that the actor, aged 73, was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata after experiencing weakness in his right upper and lower limbs. Following thorough medical evaluations, including an MRI of the brain, he was diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke). The statement added that he is presently in a well-oriented state, fully conscious, and has been advised a soft diet.
