Taking to his social media handle, the director gave fans a teaser of the thumping background score by posting a clip of the beats reverberating through woofers.
Not just that, fans of the Prabhas starrer were left pleasantly surprised when singer Santhosh Narayanan took over the microphone at his Chennai concert, and assured fans that the film ‘Is going to take the world over in few months’.
He went on to add, “We worked a lot on this and I want to present to you, something that is very, very special.”
“I will need all your love,” he said, before beginning to play the soundtrack.
The video reportedly featured Prabhas’ entry scene. Upon watching the video, fans present at the concert shared an overwhelming response to the music.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in significant roles. The film is touted to be one of the biggest science fiction movies made in India on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore. It will be released in two parts, with the first instalment releasing on 9 May 2024.
