She had her fair share of bumps in the road, and perhaps that is why Alia Bhatt expressed her reservations about Valentine’s Day almost a decade ago, branding it as ‘overrated.’
During the 2014 episode of ‘Koffee With Karan,’ where she appeared with Parineeti Chopra, Alia confessed that she found Valentine’s Day overrated, particularly sharing her dismay at being single during holidays surrounded by couples. She candidly mentioned an experience where a Valentine’s Day date turned sour, revealing, “Once my boyfriend took me out on Valentine’s Day, and he didn’t talk to me the whole time. So, I think it is overrated.”

Despite the talk show banter about the bad date, fast forward to the present, and Alia Bhatt’s relationship landscape has significantly transformed. Married to actor Ranbir Kapoor since April 2022, the couple, who dated during the filming of ‘Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva,’ welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Raha, in November 2022.

Meanwhile, Alia continues to shine on the work front as well. After the success of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,’ the versatile actor is set to grace the screen in the upcoming film ‘Jigra,’ directed by Vasan Bala.
