The actress has reportedly now gone to the Delhi Commissioner for help in this matter.
The actress has penned a letter to the police chief Sanjay Arora, as per Indian express, in order to express her concern about the systematic failure. She has said that she’s facing psychological pressure and targeted intimidation.
Earlier, in December, she had approached court to take immediate action against Sukesh for his letters, messages and statements taking her name. She alleged that Sukesh’s threats and intimidation tactics had caused her significant distress, and she feared he intended to coerce her into withholding information from the court as she is the witness in an FIR investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police.
In her recent appeal to the Commissioner, Jacqueline has appealed to the top police official to intervene into the matter swiftly. The letter describes in depth and claims that Sukesh who is in Mandoli Jail has been using intimidating tactics against her. She further appealed for the filing of FIR to ensure her protection as a witness in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
“These actions do not merely impinge upon my individual rights; they strike at the heart of our justice system. The principle of witness protection, which is fundamental to the administration of justice, has been compromised, undermining the credibility and efficacy of our legal institutions,” she stated.
Jacqueline has urged the Commissioner to launch a transparent investigation in the matter further.
